Severaid & Glahn, PC is a Sacramento-based law firm with more than 30 years of experience primarily in contract and real property law, with an emphasis on representing community associations. The firm serves associations and other clients throughout Northern California, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Central Valley, and Lake Tahoe Basin.

Community Association Representation

The firm provides legal support to community associations, including drafting and reviewing governing documents, contract review, assessment enforcement, and general legal representation. We work with association officers, boards of directors, and managers as they navigate California's evolving statutory requirements and case law.

We also assist associations with interpreting and applying governing documents and reviewing documents for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Mediation and Meet & Confer

Severaid & Glahn assists community associations with neutral mediation and with establishing meet-and-confer programs and procedures consistent with statutory requirements. Our experience in community association matters helps participants focus on relevant issues and work toward resolving disputes.

The firm also provides services involving real estate transactions, trust transfers, will drafting, contract drafting and negotiation, and facilitative mediation in civil and probate matters.
